The Susanville Indian Rancheria is looking for one individual to serve as a member of the LANGUAGE FOCUS GROUP in providing direction and guidance to the Administration for Native Americans Language Grant and the overall Susanville Indian Rancheria Language Program. Requirements: must be 18 years of age, must be Native American, must be a community member in “Good Standing” with no felony, drug, or violent crime convictions in the last 7 years, must be a resident of aboriginal territory for the previous twelve months, must be passionate about language preservation. Compensation: $50.00 per meeting / 12 meetings per year. Compensation is contingent on Grant Funding. Term length: expires 7/31/2015. The Lassen Indian Health Center is seeking a Billing Specialist for billing and tracking of all Medicare, Medi-Cal and other insurance claims for Medical, Dental, and Family Services and other related services; responsible for maintaining the Third Party Billing System in the RPMS and Dentrix system; responsible for Pharmacy reconciliation in the FDS Econcile application. Requirements: HSD/GED + 2 yrs bookkeeping/accounting experience -or- HSD/GED + 3 yrs working with Medi-Cal/Medicare program manuals and reimbursement principles -or- AA/Certificate of Completion from a Business school in bookkeeping, accounting or medical billing, 2 yrs exp working in a health care organization, 6 months exp with Third-Party Billing System. $13.00 - $15.00/hr. 42 CFR 36.221 applies. The Susanville Indian Rancheria is seeking a full time Education Programs Director who, under the general direction of the Tribal Administrator, will be responsible for the overall administrative duties of the Education Department in meeting the needs of the Tribal community by creating and fostering community wide agency partnerships to enhance and balance Tribal family needs while respecting their cultural diversity and heritage.

Salary: $37,440.00—$41,058.00/yr.

The Lassen Indian Health Center is seeking a Pharmacist On Call - To provide pharmacy services. Duties include: preparing and dispensing medication, counseling patients on drug therapies, and monitoring patient drug therapies. The Lassen Indian Health Center is looking for a Part Time Psychiatrist to work
1-2 days per week to specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental disorders. This person will treat patients with mild cases of anxiety as well as those with severe disorders that can cause dangerous and bizarre behavior. The Psychiatrist will also provide direct assessment and therapy to the Native Americans of Lassen County and will maintain a client caseload with individuals and their families, works with groups and is involved in helping clients with emotional, social, familial and substance abuse addiction, prevention and rehabilitation. This person may hold classes and work shops or groups; coordinate activities with other agencies and generally represent the clinic as a human service professional. $80.00-$90.00 p/hr. Requirements: Completion of a nationally accredited school of medicine for Medical Doctor in Psychiatry, current license to practice in the State of California, two years counseling experience in a clinical setting in the social services/mental health field, and valid CA driver’s license and a clean driving record.
