Fulltime Enrollment Coordinator - This position is responsible for initiating, mailing, filing of enrollment applications for the Susanville Indian Rancheria membership, formulating written correspondence to obtain required information/documents, update enrollment records, and maintain the base rolls and keep current tribal membership roll up to date; issues membership/blood degree certificates and enrollment identification cards. This position will also process applications for Continuing Education, higher Education, and Adult Vocational Training program. High school graduate or GED equivalent, one year administrative experience (tribal enrollment a plus), type 25 wpm, knowledge of office procedures, must have good written/verbal skills and computer experience. Tribal Youth Program Advocate - To design and establish a culturally relevant program fostering a positive and respectful environment promoting the success and wellbeing of participants and their families; to identify and coordinate resources; to identify problems, trends, and demands for service in the Susanville Indian Rancheria communities and to plan, develop, implement, and participate in activities as outlined in the strategic plan. Requirements: AA/AS in Human Services, Behavioral Science, or related field, one year experience working with community prevention activities, exp with grants/budget, valid drivers’ license and insurable as determined by the Susanville Indian Rancheria insurance provider. $15.00/hr 42CFR 36.221 applies. The Susanville Indian Rancheria is looking for two individual to serve as a member of the LANGUAGE FOCUS GROUP in providing direction and guidance to the Administration for Native Americans Language Grant and the overall Susanville Indian Rancheria Language Program. Requirements: must be 18 years of age, must be Native American, must be a community member in “Good Standing” with no felony, drug, or violent crime convictions in the last 7 years, must be a resident of aboriginal territory for the previous twelve months, must be passionate about language preservation. Compensation: $50.00 per meeting / 12 meetings per year. Compensation is contingent on Grant Funding. Term length: expires 7/31/2015. Compensation: $200.00 stipend will be paid to Chairperson and $150.00 stipend will be paid to Committee members who serve on Election Day in November.

Must be a resident of Lassen County for the previous twelve (12) months prior at time of application submission.

No member of the Election Board may be a candidate for an elected office of the Tribe, serve as an elected official during his or her term on the Board, or have a family or business relationship with a candidate or elected tribal officer which would compromise the impartiality of the election Board member or create the appearance of bias.

The Susanville Indian Rancheria Gaming Commission is seeking Two Gaming Commissioner to inspect and regulate all Gaming within the jurisdiction of the Susanville Indian Rancheria.

This term will expire August 31, 2017

Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age, must shop proof of High School Diploma or equivalent, must be a member in “good standing” identified by the General Council as not having any outstanding debt to the tribe, must successfully pass a criminal background check in accordance to gaming regulations, must pass mandatory pre-employment drug test and must be willing to submit to random drug testing, must be a resident of Lassen County for the previous twelve months at time of application submission, must have expertise, experience, education, or a combination thereof in the following areas: finance, management, legal, business, governmental regulations, tribal policy, and/or tribal law. Compensation: $750.00 monthly stipend. An additional $100.00 per month is paid to the Gaming Commissioner that delivers the monthly Gaming Report to the Tribal Business Council. The Susanville Indian Rancheria is seeking a member of the Tribal Community to serve on the Indian Child Welfare Advisory Committee. The qualified individual will participate in making recommendations and providing community input concerning the tribe’s Indian Child Welfare Program. Requirements: must be at least 18 years of age, must submit proof of High School Diploma/GED, must be a member in “good standing” (identified by the General Council as not having any outstanding debt to the tribe), must pass criminal background check (no felony, drug, or violent crime convictions in the last 7 years), must pass pre-appointment drug screen, and must be a resident of Lassen County for the previous twelve months prior to time of application submission. This appointment is subject to P.L. 101-630. No individual shall hold committee membership while under investigation for crimes against children, unprofessional conduct, or misuse of political office. $100.00 stipend paid per meeting. The Susanville Indian Rancheria is currently accepting applications from the Tribal community to fill two 3 year terms on the Susanville Indian Rancheria Housing Authority (SIRHA) which oversees the affairs of the Housing Authority. Requirements: must be at least 18 years of age, must submit proof of High School Diploma/GED, must be a member in “good standing” (identified by the General Council as not having any outstanding debt to the tribe), must pass criminal background check (no felony, drug, or violent crime convictions in the last 7 years), must pass pre-appointment drug screen, and must be a resident of Lassen County for the previous twelve months prior to time of application submission. Your application must include a short narrative describing what skills you can bring to the Committee and a full disclosure of all services received through the Susanville Indian Rancheria Housing Authority (Mutual Help, Low Rent, Employee, etc.).

The Susanville Indian Rancheria is accepting applications from the tribal community to fill three volunteer positions on the Tribe’s Land Assignment Committee. Duties include review of Land Assignment Applications, making assignment recommendations to the Tribal Business Council, issuing Certificates of Assignment, and maintaining records of all actions taken. Initial terms will be staggered, two terms for two years and one term for one year. Requirements: Must be 18 years old, HSD/GED, member in “good standing”, no felony, drug, or violent crime convictions in the last 7 years, must be a resident of Lassen County for the previous twelve months prior at time of application.
