Youth Activity Coordinator
The Susanville Indian Rancheria Youth Activity Coordinator will design and establish a prevention/intervention program for "at risk" tribal children, youth and families; coordinate assistance and services; screen and approve referrals to community agencies; control and maintain confidential information; provide education and training; collect and analyze related data. The Youth Activity Coordinator will model a clean and sober life style. AA/AS degree required (Drug and Alcohol Studies, Human Services, or Behavioral Science preferred), one year experience working in social services and/or counseling, knowledge of psychological, physiological, and sociological aspects of drug or alcohol abuse. Valid CA DL with clean driving record required. Must pass a background investigation in accordance with P.L. 101-630. $17 per hour. Resource Development Specialist/Grants Writer
The Susanville Indian Rancheria Resource Development Specialist/Grants Writer is responsible for securing financial aid and other resources for successful program implementation; will plan and coordinate grant and resource development. Requires 4 year BA/BS in Health Education, English, Sociology, Planning with at least two years of related experience and/or training. $35,000 - $40,000 DOE. On-Call Transportation Aids
The Lassen Indian Health Center has an opening for two On-Call Transportation Aids. This position will provide safe transportation for client's medical or psychosocial needs, be responsible for maintaining transport records, and arranging for documentation of vehicle maintenance and repair. Qualifications include a valid driver's license with no more than five MVR points. Must be age 25 to 65 (for insurance purposes). $10 per hour. Must have physical ability to assist client in and out of vehicle and to their destinations, have ability to obtain CPR certification within three months, work independently and cooperatively, and relate to Native Americans. Must not be a registered sex offender. Preference will be given to Native Americans (42 CFR 36.221).
