The Susanville Indian Rancheria is looking for one individual to serve as a member of the LANGUAGE FOCUS GROUP in providing direction and guidance to the Administration for Native Americans Language Grant and the overall Susanville Indian Rancheria Language Program. Requirements: must be 18 years of age, must be Native American, must be a community member in “Good Standing” with no felony, drug, or violent crime convictions in the last 7 years, must be a resident of aboriginal territory for the previous twelve months, must be passionate about language preservation. Compensation: $50.00 per meeting / 12 meetings per year. Compensation is contingent on Grant Funding. Term length: expires 7/31/2015. Accounting Technician - To provide a variety of departmental support functions. Requirements: HSD/Equivalent, 30 wpm, Word/Excel, 1 year exp with computerized general ledger and accounts payable systems, 1 year exp working within a fund accounting environment. $11.58-$16.60/hr. The SUSANVILLE INDIAN RANCHERIA is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to plan, organize, and implement a comprehensive economic development strategy to promote the growth and diversification of the Susanville Indian Rancheria economic base, assist in the management and expansion of existing businesses, and seek opportunities for investment by the Susanville Indian Rancheria in new or existing businesses.
Annual salary : $120,000.00 to $180,000.00—depending upon experience.

Tutor/Driver - To assist with tutoring (K-12 , focus on math and reading), prepare and organize lessons, evaluate student’s progress, help plan snacks and transport students; $10.00/hr 20hrs/wk; Monday through Friday 1:00pm to 5:00pm. Requirements: high school diploma/GED, 80% subject proficiency, CPR cert (or cert within 3 months), valid drivers license and must be insurable as determined by our insurance provider. Complete background check and testing will be performed. 42 CFR 36.221 applies.
2 Bus Drivers - With a Class B license to operate a 8-18 passenger bus in a safe manner over assigned routes according to established time schedules while being courteous to the public and maintaining order in the vehicle; conducts pre and post-trip vehicle inspections. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, Class B license and insurable as determined by the Susanville Indian Rancheria insurance provider, and two years experience with the safe operation of a passenger vehicle in a variety of weather conditions. $15.00/hr. 37.5 hours/3 days per week. 42CFR36.221 applies, subject to P.L. 101-630 and D.O.T.
