Below are some of the Susanville Rancheria Planning and/or Construction Projects we have in effect at this time:
Health Clinic Project: The architect firm for this project is K2A from San Francisco. The project consists of remodeling the existing entrance of the Health Center to include a vestible for energy conservation, redesign of the entrance to meet current ADA standards, redesign of existing Health Center HVAC system, and redesign of existing Health Center Parking Lot. Due to cost constraints, this project was broken up into Phase I and Phase II. Phase I (HVAC System) has been completed. Phase II (redesign of entrance and parking lot) will be managed by the tribe's Public Works Department and the bid has been awarded to Monath Construction, Inc.
Gym Rehabilitation: The tribe has resubmitted the grant proposal to HUD as the original project costs far exceeded funding availability. HUD has reviewed and approved the revised proposal (gym facility remodel only) and the design/build project has been awarded to BCM Construction out of Chico, CA. The design is scheduled for completion by June with the actual construction being scheduled for July with an anticipated completion date of December 2008.
Lower Rancheria Park: The tribe's Maintenance Department, under the supervision of Russ Burriel, is currently working on a park for the Lower Rancheria. He anticipates completion of the park by the July timeframe. The park will include a basketball court, a covered picnic area that will include barbeque stands, and a playground.
