Public Works Department
The SIR Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of infrastructure and facilities that serve our Tribal Community. The department oversees a wide range of public services, including road maintenance, water and wastewater management, environmental sustainability, and the upkeep of tribal buildings and public spaces.
The Department of Public Works is committed to preserving the natural environment and promoting a resilient, sustainable future for the Susanville Indian Rancheria.
SIR Public Works Tribal Member Assistance
For eligible Tribal Members, the Public Works Department is able to perform minor electrical or plumbing repairs, provide trailer drop-off and pick-up for household waste, install grab bars or locks, and assist with picking up materials (such as soil, gravel or lumber) within the local area. Please call the Public Works office for more information on eligibility requirements or available services.
